How US regulation is opening the RWA gateway
The CLARITY Act establishes definitional clarity between digital commodities and digital securities — a compliant pathway for tokenized real-world assets to reach institutional investors. For infrastructure built for ISO 20022 from the ground up, like the TX Network, it's a regulatory green light.
The SEC's Release 33-11412 established the Digital Collectible classification for culturally significant blockchain assets like edumemes — separating the category from securities and utility tokens, and letting projects like $MART operate with clear regulatory positioning.
DTCC × Stellar: the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation selected Stellar as the first public blockchain for tokenized securities settlement in 2026 — proof that purpose-built, ISO 20022-compatible blockchains are the preferred infrastructure for regulated RWA tokenization.
